Legacy

Lyon, France, 28 January 2026

Legacy is an art direction project built around Shali, a fictional artist working in a contemporary R&B world. Through a series of studio portraits and a complete visual identity, the project explores heritage, identity and personal expression.

The work includes a logotype, the promotional photographs and a vinyl sleeve. Inspired by the visual codes of contemporary music and by references from African culture, the whole aims to express Shali’s world through a restrained, assertive and coherent aesthetic.

Every element, from photography to typography, was designed to build a strong identity that can follow the artist across media while reflecting her music and her cultural heritage.
